I remember the moment I realized the value of Pam’s design planner nearly 15 years ago. I had walked into a hotel ballroom in Nashville, TN for her design event thinking it was a date book…it was NOT another datebook…it was a tool to track, schedule, reflect, and pivot when needed in the DESIGNING OF MY LIFE. I am so grateful for Pamela Shaw’s 90 Day Planner and Breakthrough Workbook. I have been using these books and they have been a true joy in my life. The 90 Day Planner helps me stay organized and focused for my week. The entire 90 Day Planner is set up so I can have winning weeks which turn into winning months to reach a 90 Day Goal. I also enjoy the Breakthrough Workbook. Miracles happen when working in the Breakthrough Workbook. I am able to gain a deeper “why” for my business, as well as the strategies to achieve those goals and I can see my goals and dreams are possible. THE GREATEST JOY FOR ME was traveling to Pam’s live event Breakthrough Academy and being able to learn from her in a small group setting for an entire weekend and then having Sunday brunch. I must tell you how very much I appreciate the subject of this week’s email! Through using the 90 Day Planner over the past 46 days I have begun to learn several things about myself. One of those, is the subject you address, “We will never be perfect or intentional 100% of the time, so it’s important to notice when we have slipped, offer ourselves kindness and grace, and pivot. THAT is how we get back on track…” Over the past few weeks I have become more and more aware of how extremely judgmental I am of myself. That realization brought another that I give others grace in ways I do not give myself. In fact, your email and several of your recent social media posts, when I have responded and shared them, you have given such encouraging and helpful response back – These have been so very encouraging and truly helpful. With my new realization, I have been able to be more truthful and kinder with myself in turn. The self-kindness has begun to create real change in my daily life and business. Doing so has caused me to find the small areas in which I have allowed myself to be frozen. I would liken it to a powerful river beginning to unfreeze; cracks form and then slowly break into large chunks and soon the river flows free. Silly things have held me back from making booking calls and holding appointments. However, being kind to myself is what has brought to me the ability to recognize what causes my anxiety and has stopped my progress. Because of your planner and guidance, I am daily pushing myself to create the habit of tackling each next step and creating forward movement. Which I believe is proof of your thoughts: 1. In order for me (and you) to have the BEST 2020, I have to stay FOCUSED because unwelcome, short-term circumstances will fade, and I’ll be left standing either in the same place or advancing towards my dreams. Focus is the separator. AND 2. Sometimes, we ignore the whisper… that nudge to take action on an invitation or opportunity that could literally change the direction of our lives! Ignore ANYTHING but that! So again, thank you for the excellence you give to all of us! Thank you for the kindness of your support and encouragement you give back. My sincere gratitude

Pure Genius for an “on the go” professional

I’ve found that this 90-day Design Your Life book to be a tremendous tool. I’m huge user of Weekly Plan sheet each week. I’m huge goal setter! It’s right there. It has become my go to book consolidating critical info for both my conscious and subconscious mind. I’ve been using it for 1.5yrs and won’t change

Using the Design you life book has made a huge difference in my life—business as well as private. It has taken me a couple weeks to realize I have it, but now that I’m using it, I check it every day just to make sure I’m on the right track!! Thank you so much for making it available to me!! Oh my goodness …. the planner totally works when you do !! it’s easy to get distracted with Life, but the planner , it is like a work out ! Do what you know to do each day , go through the questions what needs to be done and move forward when the Tasks are done the results happen. This is a system and in my opinion the only one anyone ever needs!

Too many times in the past I would make amazing goals for my life, only to have them sizzle two weeks later. For the first time, I have the plan of action, guidance, and steps on how to accomplish those goals. This planner has been the BEST tool ever for my business!

I am finding time to do other important things that I let slide before. Like reading, quiet time, etc. I am getting more done.

Have you ordered Pam Shaw’s Book/CD/Director Focus Folders? I just received Pam Shaw’s CD “Designing My Life, Living My Vision” and the director focus folders – WOW was it powerful! I had gotten the book “Designing My Life, Living My Vision at Seminar and really had not used it, because I wasn’t quite sure How to Use it (is anybody out there with me)! Well, if you are feeling the same way, please order the CD NOW!!!! It will truly help you to develop your systems in all areas. I think as directors being accountable and also working on “us” in all areas of our life is so important to keep us focused. Pam also mentions that discipline and accountability are necessary to move forward! Are you willing to change – Pam states that “Growth is Optional, but Change is Mandatory!” I love this statement she made on the CD (paraphrased by me of course): “Vision is the place you are going (that big thing, big position, etc.)” and Mission is what drives you there (what moves you! why you do what you do!).” That was just such an eye opener for me! I know those are such simple statements, but they awoke such an awareness in me! Pam has always been such an eloquent speaker. She paints the picture and shares her heart, like only Pam can. Hope this was helpful, if you had purchased the book and were not quite sure how you should be using it!

I have been using Pam’s Design Book and Focus Folder consistently for a few weeks. Prior to this time, I was one of those over organized directors that could not find what I needed. It is unreal how these tools have helped me to focus on keeping the main thing the main thing. I am insisting that each of my directors use both tools and that all of the consultants in my leadership development class use the Design Book. Spending time focusing on the wrong areas has limited my growth. If you use these “Million $” tools, designed by the a woman who has mastered this business, you will focus on the right things. My goals are in front of me! My affirmations can be recited daily! I am held accountable to God, Family Career, making healthy food choices and exercising!!!!! I am the queen of purchases from Franklin Covey and Daytimer. Who would think that for so little I could get exactly what I needed.

My very first 90 Day Planner was the tool that made the difference in taking a quantum leap in 3 areas of my life. You suggested we pick only 3 areas. I followed the plan exactly as you suggested making sure every week to go over the previous week things I did well and things I could do better. The three categories I picked were spiritual, health/weight and career. #1 I didn’t quite know how to chart spiritual growth. I wanted something tangible so I decided that memorizing scripture could be one way to make sure I was reading my bible and having a meaningful quiet time with the Lord. During those first 90 days I memorized quite a few scriptures and all of Psalm 91 and the first chapter of Colossians. #2 By charting the food section in the Planner I became aware of the extra “bites” I snacked on and the accountability in that journaling caused me to lose 23# in that time (a year later I have not gained it back). #3 Next, in my career I wanted to advance to a higher circle of achievement. I made the jump during those 90 days (October-Dec) from $300,000 to being on target at Leadership Conference for Half Million. So needless to say, your planner is MY TOOL OF CHOICE to develop the habits needed to support the goals I desire to reach. Thank you for pouring your life into so many! I’m just one, but I am one!

Last year as the the year came a to close, I was ready for a shift in my business & life, and I participated in a Design Your Life e-workshop that Pam held. I had been using the design your life books over the years, and I had a new one in hand as she trained. For the first time, I FULLY filled out the pages about my mission & vision & dreams & mapped out the goal time frames as the book is laid out. I spent time planning each goal intentionally with deadlines – even relationship goals I had within my marriage & family. That 90 day cycle (Jan-March) & the one to follow (April- June) were 2 of the most shifting 90 day cycles I’ve experienced in a long time! I used the Design My Life planner as it is designed to be used and I hit (or made significant progress) on every goal area I wrote out! My business grew significantly & our team hit the next higher level that I had been reaching for for years. Some changes happened within my marriage that I intentionally planned out at the start of the new year- for the first time, I wrote out steps I was going to take with that goal to make those changes & I stuck to it! My marriage immediately changed! I attribute these changes in my business & life to a commitment to think differently & to intentional living, which Pam’s Design Your Life trainings & planner gave me the tools to make the shift & see it through!
