Pamela Shaw is a mentor, coach, and teacher devoted to helping others live life by design through tools, methods, and principle-centered messages. Her journey began with a personal breakthrough—a deep urgency to maximize her time and purpose—which led her to create a planner that could house goals, dreams, visions, habits, and daily actions in one place. After three years of successful use, she published her first 90-Day Personal Growth Planner in 2000, a tool she still considers the best of its kind.
Building on that foundation, she developed the Breakthrough Goal Setting Workbook in 2011, offering a deeper, transformative approach to intentional living and goal achievement. In 2013, The Prayer Journal was published as a companion piece. After years of refining, she considers these to be her best work yet—tools designed to guide others to discover that the answers they seek are already within them.
The secret to Pamela Shaw’s success at work and at home can be summed up by her trademark motto: “Time invested in one area is time away from another.” She teaches that on-purpose living requires intentional choices and full awareness of every “yes” and “no.” Success, she emphasizes, is not the result of a single moment, but the accumulation of wise, daily decisions. Likewise, failure is the result of unintentional drifting—allowing others to set one’s schedule and priorities. This philosophy permeates her coaching, mentoring, and teaching, forming the foundation of the Design Your Life 90-Day Planner the Breakthrough Goal Setting Workbook andThe Prayer Journal.
These tools are created for anyone ready to live their best life by giving each moment their best yes.
Pamela’s passion for growth and leadership is rooted in her upbringing as the middle child in a family of educators where serving, teaching, and leading were a way of life. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Pam taught high school English and dance in south Florida, pouring her heart into students, the arts, and leadership roles. However, burdened by time commitments and financial constraints, she pivoted to a career in direct sales.
For over more than four decades, Pamela has embraced opportunities lead leaders, teach, speak, podcast and inspire audiences on personal growth, habit development, time management, and goal accomplishment. Her mission is to recognize the greatness already within others and to ignite their confidence and effectiveness, supporting them to step in to their God-given identity, empowering them to lead and live from their God-given strengths.
